Data Security

Protecting information means controlling how it can be used.

Encryption is a tool, not a complete answer. Cerberox designs protection around the information itself, the people who can access it and the consequences of a compromise.

Start with the information

An encrypted file can still be exposed through an authorised account, an overlooked copy or an account recovery route. Data Hardening therefore goes beyond securing servers and networks. It follows information through use, sharing, storage and recovery.

The work starts with practical questions: who can read the information, who can export it, who controls the keys and which boundaries remain effective if an account is compromised.

From assessment to implementation

Cerberox can deliver the full engagement: mapping information flows, assessing threats, designing the architecture, implementing controls and verifying their behaviour. Identities, applications, devices, cloud services and backups are considered together, because exposure often arises between them.

A result that can be checked

The project makes requirements, access rights, dependencies and responsibilities explicit. Agreed tests check the required properties and document their limits. When Cerberox verifies its own implementation, that is an internal project check, not independent third-party assurance.

The next step

Let’s start with the actual problem.

Tell us what needs protecting and what the consequences of failure would be. We can then define a clear scope, responsibilities and next steps.
